ARCHITECTURE
Distribute the work
Ocus R distributes scanning across up to 12 independent heads working in parallel. Sharing the workload across multiple heads provides the foundation for capacity, resilience and room to grow within a single instrument.
Resilience
Keep scanning moving
When an individual scanning head is unavailable, it can be taken offline while the others continue. This built-in redundancy allows the system to keep delivering scanning capacity, helping your lab maintain slide flow.
Image quality
Keep image quality at the center
Excellent images are the starting point. Ocus R builds on Grundium's patented imaging approach and a scanner platform with more than 15,000 worldwide placements, bringing that imaging heritage to the volumes your laboratory needs.
Scalability
More capacity. The same footprint.
Start with the configuration that fits your current needs and add scanning heads as slide volumes grow, up to 12 per instrument. You can increase scanning capacity within the same compact platform, preserving valuable laboratory space.
Automation
Load the drawers. Keep working.
Load racks of coverslipped slides into the automated drawers and close them. Ocus R manages scanning and routes images to your preferred image management system, reducing routine touch points so your team can return to other work.
